What I do is a bit of a curate’s egg.  Put simply, I write for food.  Well, about food, actually.  

And it’s not even all about that – or just writing.  I do social media, PR, marketing, web, whatever.  And project manage the odd international event.  My specialist subjects are food, photography, travel, health & beauty, self-help and general lifestyle.  If it’s interesting, I do it.

In my deepest, darkest past I’ve worked on a film crew, written a guide book about the Costa del Sol, been a trader in Latin American equities, publicised best-selling books, co-produced a short film, staged events and conferences, and headed up the comms teams for the Channel Tunnel, the Millennium Dome and ID cards.

But that’s all behind me now.  These days I write, do social media gigs, create online and offline promotional material, and generally PR the hell out of stuff I like.  Which mostly happens to be all that the word ‘lifestyle’ seems to encompass.
